This $2.5 million dollar 24,000 square foot multi-purpose building which includes a new gymnasium, classrooms, offices, restrooms, and kitchen area. The project consisted of two story steel frame, site work, asphalt paving, concrete, masonry, pre-engineered metal building, carpentry, metal studs, drywall, ACT, carpet, wood flooring, HVAC, fire sprinkler, plumbing, electrical, and elevator.
Arco Builders partnered with North Point Baptist Church from the inception of the project. The first phase of construction, which included clearing and grading, was performed in 2005. After the sale of their existing facility was delayed, the project was postponed. To re-vitalize interest in the project, Arco Builders submitted a multi-phase plan with breakout budgets to assist the church in evaluating the cost of each phase of the building. Based on the immediate needs of the Church, the academy portion of the main complex was the first area to be constructed.
